Planning Blog: Other Information

Location 

We will be filming in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood. Specifically, on 51st Ave where the outside scenes will be filmed on the sidewalk. The rest will take place inside Nirmala’s house.

Health 

We will take many safety precautions during the filming process. Nirmala’s parents will be able to provide supervision. Since some of the shots will be filmed outside, we have ensured that proper caution is exercised around the street. Sunscreen will also be used to ensure the hot Florida sun does not burn us. 

 

Schedule 

2/1/25	We will acquire all the props and make preparations for the filming date
2/8/25	We will film at Nirmala’s house. We are expecting to be able to film all of the scenes on this day.
2/9/25 - 3/6/25	Editing will begin immediately. All the files will be uploaded into DaVinci Resolve and edited into the final product.
3/7/25	The project will be completed.

 

Backup Plan 

In case we are unable to film on the planned date, we will have to film on one of the proceeding weekends, either on 2/15 or 2/16. If we have difficulties with filming certain scenes, we can rewrite and edit parts in the script to make it easier for us. If a crucial scene is found to be unusable during editing, we may have to refilm parts.
