Our Pitch

Pitch A: A highschooler goes about their daily life, but realizes they are being stalked by someone—or something...

Pitch B: A person just bought a new phone for a cheap price, but something isn’t quite right.

Discuss Pitch A:

We would be interested in filming this pitch because it would require very few actors, and the props are easily accessible. This pitch will also offer us great flexibility in how it could be filmed and edited. This pitch would allow us to be creative with things such as props and types of shots to create suspense. The pitch would require more physical props as opposed to many visual effects, which would be easier in the editing process. However, it may be more difficult filming this pitch as we may have to film in multiple locations, complicating the logistics of filming. One the other hand, it would offer more ways to incorporate titles within the scenes.

Discuss Pitch B:

We would be interested in filming this pitch, despite that it would rely more on visual effects than props. This would make the editing process more difficult. However, this could give us the opportunity to be more creative with our film. Additionally, this pitch would allow us to film in one location, and therefore allow us to film everything in one day at the same time. The setting remaining the same would also allow us to have more space and time in the first two minutes to add the title and credits without interrupting the story.

Our Final Decision:

We have decided to go with pitch A: “A highschooler goes about their daily life, but realizes they are being stalked by someone—or something...”
