My Group

I have chosen to work in a group for this project. This is because I felt that working in a group will be easier, as the workload would be more evenly distributed. On the contrary working alone on such a project may be beneficial in some other aspects, such as greater flexibility, and I will consider this option for future projects. Nevertheless, I chose to work in a a group. One member of my group is David Suciu. I chose to work to work with him because he seems to be dependable when it comes to schoolwork, and that trust is essential when working on such a project. David also can type very fast, meaning he can complete his work much quicker than most. Another member of my group is Lucas Hale-Florez. I do not know Lucas very well, I have talked to him only a handful of times. However David vouches for Lucas, saying that he has known him for many years. My third and final group mate is Khamaree Jeudy. I have never met Khamaree, I chose to work with him simply because he was already the group before I joined. I hope he will prove to be a valuable group member. Working with new people presents a learning opportunity for me. It can help me learn how to adapt to different work styles and perspectives, which is essential in majority of work environments. However, working with people that you don't know very well can come with it's challenges, which is why open communication between us is essential for the success of this group. My main fear is that one or two of us will be doing majority of the work, while the others barely contribute. There isn't much I can do to counter this, except to make sure I am doing my part. Even if I have to cover for someone's slack, it's still better than doing everything by myself. I hope that this does not happen, and that we all work together successfully.
